Christopher Peter Meloni has been a popular American actor throughout his career. He is most popular for the roles he performed in "Law & Order Special Victims Unit". Meloni discovered his passion for acting from his days in college and studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active on TV and film and on stage, his appearances on small screens were what earned him popularity. His ability to play characters on both sides of law has captured the attention of the public. In his very first TV show, he was the role of a serial killer. Then, he played the role of an NYPD investigator. He has been nominated multiple times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen performances. His piercing blue eyes his eyes are thought to be the most appealing characteristic. These have been used to portray rough characters and make them more appealing. The People's Magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
