Selena Gomez's worldwide fame as a performer and actress singing sensation is undeniable. One of the projects she's participated in that has had the greatest successful has been the Disney series he Wizards of Waverly Place. Her real name is Selena Marie Gomez. She was born on July 22 of 1992 at Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett is her mother and Ricardo Gomez is her father. Selena was the first child of her mother. She was just sixteen at the time of Selena. The year 2009 was when Selena was cast in her first film in the show industry as Gianna when Barney and her Friends. The role was to be one of the children who got to play with the world's most famous human-like dinosaur in the form of a purple. Selena was a part of many episodes of seasons 7 and 8 in the period 2001 and 2003. As a fun fact: Selena was not the only singer who worked on Barney as well as his Friends in this time period. Demi Lovato was also part of the team that starred in the show. Selena Gomez left the show and was auditioned for a variety of other films and programs and did not get any luck.
